Chad Gilbert grew up in the "Football Capital of the South" watching games (and dodging stray gunfire) at Birmingham's Legion Field. His claims to athletic fame are stealing home in a little league game and almost coming to blows with Ed Orgeron before an Ole Miss/Alabama contest in 2007. To Chad's benefit, only words - and not fists - were exchanged. He now resides in Memphis, where he can be found binge-eating babyback ribs and accosting hapless Conference USA fans.

His middle name is Bryant, because his parents found out they were expecting him the day the Bear died. It's been all downhill since then.
